(Stealth Mode Startup)
Who We Are:
Embodica.ai is building the training data infrastructure for humanoid robotics. We’ve developed a proprietary capture system that records human task demonstrations with millisecond precision across video, motion sensors, and tactile feedback. Our platform enables robot manufacturers and industrial customers to:

– Capture any human task in days (not months) – Generate simulation-ready digital twins automatically

– Train robot policies with 10x less data than traditional methods Currently in private beta with select partners in automotive and logistics.

Why This Matters

The $150B humanoid robotics market has a data problem: – Figure AI, Tesla Optimus, and 30+ humanoid companies are all training data-starved. Current methods (manual programming, sparse datasets) don’t scale. – Manufacturing faces 2.1M unfilled jobs by 2030 (Deloitte).

Humanoids can fill the gap—but only if they can learn complex tasks quickly. – Today, capturing 1,000 hours of robot training data costs $500K+ and takes 6-12 months. We will do it in weeks.

Embodica makes training data abundant, affordable, and accessible—unlocking the full potential of embodied AI.

Discover how we combine AI, robotics, and human expertise.

-Multi-Modal Capture System Synchronized video, depth, IMU, and tactile sensors capture tasks with <5ms precision—10x more accurate than standard motion capture.

🤖 Simulation-Ready Digital Twins Automatic 3D reconstruction + trajectory extraction creates Isaac Sim/MuJoCo compatible environments in hours, not weeks.

🔒 Privacy-First Architecture On-device face redaction and GDPR-compliant anonymization ensure worker data is protected from capture to training.

📊 Cross-Domain Transfer Learning: One dataset, multiple robots. Our format works with Franka, UR, ABB, and humanoid platforms (Digit, Optimus, Figure).

Founder

Edward Bianco, MBA Founder & CEO

Ed is a technology executive and AI investor with over 30+ years of leadership experience, including CEO, CTO, CIO, and CISO roles at public and private companies. Most recently, he founded and led AI Cognitive Ventures, a venture investment platform that invested in AI startups across machine learning, computer vision, and autonomous systems. Through this work, he identified a critical market gap: humanoid robots are hardware-ready but training data-starved. Embodica is his answer to that gap—building the data infrastructure layer that the entire embodied AI industry needs. He is self-funding the MVP and personally recruiting the founding team. About Embodica.ai

What is Embodica.ai?

Embodica.ai is building the intelligent infrastructure that enables humanoid robots and embodied AI systems to perceive, understand, and interact with the physical world. We’re developing the foundational technology that makes autonomous embodiment possible.

What problem are you solving?

Current AI excels at digital tasks but struggles with physical interaction. Most humanoid robots require extensive manual programming and struggle to generalize across environments. We’re addressing the fundamental challenge of giving AI systems the spatial intelligence and real-world understanding they need to operate autonomously in dynamic, unstructured environments.

What is your mission?

To co-create intelligent systems that seamlessly bridge the digital and physical worlds, enabling a future where humanoid robots and embodied AI work safely and effectively alongside humans across industries.

Technology & Approach

How does your technology work?

We’ve developed a novel approach to spatial intelligence and environmental understanding that allows embodied AI systems to perceive, reason about, and interact with physical spaces. Our infrastructure enables robots to learn and adapt in real-world conditions with greater efficiency and reliability.

How is your approach different from companies like Figure AI and others?

While many companies focus on end-to-end robot training for specific tasks, we’re building the underlying intelligent infrastructure—the spatial perception and reasoning layer that any embodied system needs. Think of us as providing the critical foundation that enables faster, more efficient training and better generalization across environments and tasks.

What makes your technology critical for humanoid embodiment?

Humanoid robots must navigate complex, human-designed environments and interact with objects built for human hands. This requires sophisticated spatial awareness, real-time environmental understanding, and the ability to predict physical interactions. Our technology provides this foundational capability, making humanoid embodiment practical and scalable.

Applications & Use Cases

What industries can benefit from your technology?

Our intelligent infrastructure has applications across manufacturing, logistics and warehousing, healthcare and elder care, hospitality and service industries, agriculture, construction, and any environment where physical automation and human-robot collaboration are valuable.

Are you building robots?

No, we’re building the intelligent infrastructure that powers robots. We focus on the AI systems that enable spatial understanding and physical interaction, which can be integrated into various robotic platforms and embodied systems.

What use cases are you targeting first?

While we’re maintaining flexibility during our stealth phase, we’re particularly focused on applications where spatial intelligence and adaptive behavior in unstructured environments create the most value—areas where current robotic solutions struggle with variability and unpredictability.
